About Butch Lombardi
My award winning photography is the product of 52 years behind the lens. It has been recognized by galleries, and has appeared in national and local publications, books (Yankee Magazine, National Wildlife Federation, Audubon Report, LA Times, Providence Business News, Providence Journal, East Bay Newspapers, etc.). Thanks Crystal. I was up on the headwaters of the Androscoggin River in NH near the Canadian border looking for Bald Eagles. This gentleman named Fred launched just before I did. As I was getting ready to launch I noticed him ghosting through the early morning fog. All I had on the camera as the 100-400 so I shot this with that lens. It's been one of my favorites since I shot it in 2009.
